tires and headers and y pipe
hey guys need help on tire size 98z28 stock 16s can i go 255/50 or is 245/50 as big as i can go i have been told both ways money tite thinking cooper zeon sport usa made ? . have SLP LT headers Y cats LM 2. header and y and cats hang 2 low any thing i can do ? or do i need 2 replace headers. I am new at this posting thing bear with me.

I bought some rims several years ago that came with 255's on them. I ran them for a couple of years with no issues. I don't really think you're supposed to run them on 8" rims though but Jeg's recommends an 8" rim for 255 MT drag radials so who knows. .

I ran those Cooper tires before. they are ok, but are all season and don't offer the best traction. I switched to Riken Raptors for about the same price and think they perform a lot better.
a 245 cooper is perfect square for a 8.5" rim, a 255 on an 8" rim would fit, but would be pushing it for best traction matchup.

thanks i thank i will go with 245 dont like taking chances with tires.
