ticking lifter only on hot starts

My car has developed a lifter that sounds like it is not getting oil, Is this a lifter problem it does not do it all the time never develops when I am driving only happens on the start up sometimes then just goes away. Do I need to change the lifters or is this even the lifters?

    lol.

Well, I have a lifter in my truck that does that hot start thing. Sound exactly like piston slap, but t/a will make a bit of clacking sound till the oil gets around everywhere even on hot starts. She got a ton of miles though.

only has about 18,000miles, When it does it if I shut it off and restart it sometimes it will go away.
I had been running royal purple but from what I read I have since changed to Amsoil 0w30.
