    Threw a Code

    Threw a code it was something like 02 heater malfunction... soo what does this mean?? i got long tubes with no cat... anything i have to do... oh ya it was bank 1

    heater codes are pretty common with LT's. I'm switching to bosch 13111 sensors this summer when I go back to closed loop to see how those do. I've read mixed reviews on that helping the problem. Firebirdjones also switched over so we're going to see between the both of us how they work.

    Have you looked at the wireing to the sensor? I know on an LTX car if you burn the pink supply wire the o2 heater will not work. It usually kills the MAF to though. Just a thought.

    wires are good and they have heat wrap on them 2

    I dont know then. It might just be a faulty o2. Check the voltage across the 2 white/white and grey wires at the o2 connection. You should have 12 volts. If you dont, there is a short some were. If you do, then its probably the o2 sensor itself that bad. Thats all I can think of right now. If I come up with anything else I will post back up.
