    testing spark pug wires

    when testing for plug wires what are they supposed to read ??

    ok then what should stock wires be reading at.

    Stock maybe around 400-500 ohms, my new MSD's measured 30 ohms for comparison to OEM vs. MSD.

    can someone here please explain what the number on the spark plug body means. 41-974.. I replaced the original factory plugs 1 year ago, went with ac delco's #41-985.. had a misfire on cylinder # 2 took plug out cleaned it car ran alot better.. and now when i go on ac delcos webisite.. it gives me a cross reference # 41-110 also 41-952 just a bunch of different #s i want to find 41-974... or an equivalent of that plug....

    The 41-110 is the OEM iridium i believe. that replaced the 41-985. should be gapped at .040

    aren;t they supposed to be gapped at .060

    The OEM platinum plugs were .060. GM came out with an iridium replacement that gaps at .040"
