    TCS/ABS lights are on, suggestions?

Those lights are on in my dash. Dont know where to start to fix. I had someone run a scanner on it but it came up with nothing.

My brakes also randomly feel like crap.

I would start by checking the wheel sensors for the traction control/ABS. They can get really dirty from road grime and brake dust. You can try cleaning them off, or replacing them if need be.

I want to say they are behind the rotor somewhere. I've read a few articles previously trying to diagnose why my ASR OFF light occasionally comes on when I'm driving, and was pointed in the direction of the sensors but never bothered to look. If I can find a pic I'll post it up. Edit: I found this article on how to replace them http://www.ehow.com/how_4521136_replace-abs-wheel-sensor-chevy.html

Wheel sensor(s). Get an abs scanner from a friend and replace the bad unit(s). Cheap fix.

Jodi you look like you have the location. This info below is for the guys that have non TCS cars.

This nugget of info is for those that are looking to upgrade to a 9" or 12 bolt.

Non TCS cars (like mine) - the ABS sensor is located on the top of the rear end housing. This is know as a 3 channel.

TCS cars - they are located just behind the rotors. This called a 4 channel system.
