Taller oil filter?

TA calls for an AC Delco 46. My 02 GMC calls for an AC Delco 61. Will the taller filter work on the TA?

Yes it works fine. I used them for years till they switched to the E Core design.

Yes, they work fine and I find that the oil is cleaner looking after 3000 miles when I use them.

Wix, Pure One, Fram Xtended Guard (yes Fram Xtended Guard)

Yup, the Fram extended guard is a good filter that stands up to the best.
I use the 3605 on my LS1 and have no problems at all.
