TA diff cover install... Load bolt ?

    Hey,

Got my TA diff cover to pretty up the back end a little and have a question about the little black heads on the load bolts. Are the supposed to be on the threads or screwed back until they are wobbly? The instructions suck with this thing. Also am I gonna have clearance issues with the sway bar?

    Thanks,

When you install the TA cover, unscrew the load bolts all the way until the black plastic ends (on the inside of the cover) are flush with the back of the cover. Install the cover, then screw down the load bolts until they make contact with the bearing caps, then torque the set nut to 5lbs (no more).

As far as your stock sway bars, I cannot answer that, for I have aftermarket units from RKSport, which had no trouble clearing the cover.

Cool thanks. My trouble is with the actual black caps themselves. Should they be on the threads ot screwed all the way back so they kinda move around? If you screw them bavk they come off the threads but stay on the bolt.

Will fit with stock sway bar. It just looks like it won't fit.
