T-top storage 02 T/A Cover not right?
I am just wondering.... the little flip over cover that snaps in place to cover the t-top storage area..... how is it supposed to fit when your tops are in the trunk? I would think that they would cover the tops, but mine won't fold back if I have the tops off, it has to be folded forward? Just doesn't seem right to me?
Thanks

hmm...you're talking about the cargo cover, right? When you have the t-tops off, the cover should still lay back in place over the storage area just as it does when you don't have the t-tops off...

do you have the cargo lid snapped all the way in place?

I'm pretty sure that is normal guys, I have never had the flapper lid go over the t-tops when they are in the holder.

You aren't meant to close the cover with the top off and stored. That's why it's able to flushly fold forward. No worries, there is nothing wrong with your car.

Ditto same here. Can you not remove the holder and flip it around?

IMO that's not really a cover but more of an air deflector.

you'll have to definitely post a couple pics of the problem so we can see exactly what's going on...

With both of my f-bodies the cover still goes into place when the t-tops are off and in the storage compartment...

Hey there yea but just think it would make more sence to have to drivers side go in first last time i checked there is always a driver in the car but no you have to place the empty seat LOL up first so the driver side get all wet something wrong with that idea i ask the guys at pontiac why that is and never got a good answer

mine is the same. I figured the only reason why GM would make it flip up is for the t-tops...
