    T-top storage 02 T/A Cover not right?

I am just wondering.... the little flip over cover that snaps in place to cover the t-top storage area..... how is it supposed to fit when your tops are in the trunk? I would think that they would cover the tops, but mine won't fold back if I have the tops off, it has to be folded forward? Just doesn't seem right to me?

    Thanks

hmm...you're talking about the cargo cover, right? When you have the t-tops off, the cover should still lay back in place over the storage area just as it does when you don't have the t-tops off...

Yes, snapped in place it stops against the glass of the tops, and doesn't allow the decklid to close. It's like my t-tops store backwards? will try and post photos tomorrow to demonstrate. I don't know....

I'm pretty sure that is normal guys, I have never had the flapper lid go over the t-tops when they are in the holder.

You aren't meant to close the cover with the top off and stored. That's why it's able to flushly fold forward. No worries, there is nothing wrong with your car.

Ditto same here. Can you not remove the holder and flip it around?

I thought about switching the t-top holders around, but the won't swap. It just seems to me that it would be more [U]asthetic[U] (did i spell that big word right....lol) if the tops leaned the other way, and the cover closed over them?

IMO that's not really a cover but more of an air deflector.

    That's hilarious..

I don't notice mine through my tint either. My biggest problem is I like to keep car detailing stuff back there and my giant school backpack (really a hiking backpack), so whenever I take the tops off... everything gets moved to the back seats..

With both of my f-bodies the cover still goes into place when the t-tops are off and in the storage compartment...

mine is the same. I figured the only reason why GM would make it flip up is for the t-tops...
