    T-top Adjustment?

Is there any way to adjust the way a t top fits?

I had to buy a new t-top and it just doesn't fit quite the same. it makes a lot of wind noise and just doesn't seal up as good.

If you take off the a pillar and/or the rear plastic piece where the back of ttop rod goes through, you will see a metal bracket thing with the hole in it where the ttop stud goes through. There are two bolts that hold it on. You can adjust it back and forth and there are also on some cars shims between where the bracket bolts up and the body. You can either remove those shims to lower it to seal it tighter or add some to do the opposite.

Both, you can adjust both sides where the ttop bracket is. Its the same part on both sides of the roof.

Take a dollar bill and run it through the cracks to fine tune the adjustments, I tweeked on mine till its perfect after I had my t-top fly off on the freeway.

awesome i figured it out and got it to fit right.

Thanks so much guys. I was hoping that there was some sort of fix because there is no way that i could have stood all that wind noise and the shitty fitment!

There should be a sticky about it!
