Sounds like the panhard bar mount. Is it the mount for the bar behind the rear axle that attaches to the passenger side of the body and runs parallel with the axle?

You could order a new one from GM Parts Direct, post in the Parts Wanted section here as some members have upgraded to aftermarket mounts and may have one to sell, or check out Trans Am Creations as they may have some in their inventory.

Stabilizer bar or sway bar is not the panhard bar. Please post a pic so we can ge you in the right direction.

Sounds like sway bar saddles.
If one of the panhard bar mounts was broken the panhard would likely swing down and drag the road.
You should be able to locate sway bar saddles pretty easily, whether @ a yard or auto parts, or one of our sponsers.

Are the saddles the actual mounts on the rear end axle housing itself for the sway bar or out at the ends?

Thanks,, it's also good that you mentioned the end links.
They also like to break after they get some age to them and start to rust.
Moog heavy duty end links (with blue bushings) are a very good replacement and are inexpensive aswell.
I recommend replaceing them while the OP is replacing the saddle mounts.
Good simple insurrance for not alot of money or time to replace.
IIRC UMI (site sponsor) carries/makes these parts also..Last edited by Smittro; 07-09-2012 at 05:20 AM. Reason: Added Sponsor recommendation

You should replace the stock units with "polyuratane" with greasable fittings on the brackets.
