stock tune back?
ok im in the middle of putting a stall and a shift kit on my TA. heres the problem my car was tuned with ls1 edit and i had the guy increse the trans line pressure and i need to put it back to stock before i install the shift kit,i have a hyper tech programer just wonted to know if i could use it to put the settings back to stock. will that overide the ls1 edit tune ?

couple of questions.... Does the hpp3 already have your STOCK tune on it? If so then it will rewrite your entire stock tune back. I'm also pretty sure you can just change the tranny settings back to stock and not impact your engine tune at all. The hpp3 has to first have your stock tune in there and secondly if you just do the tranny section the hpp3 will still be locked to your car and will be worth nothing. Is there a reason you can't get your stock tranny settings flashed back with edit? That would be the best and easiest way.

after i install the new parts im going to have my car dyno tuned with ls1 edit so i dont care about losing the tune i have now and yes my programer has my stock tune in it.
and yes having my car flashed would be better but my car is apart trans out and stuff so.
