Sticky Fuel Injectors (I think).
For several years now my '99 SS Camaro 6-speed develops
rough starts in low gear, bucking and surgeing. Also, bucks
and surges in stop and go traffic situations and at times
bogs when getting on the throttle. I find that by putting
"Techron Concentrate" in the gas, the roughness goes away,
right away! However, it always returns in a month or two.
What I was wondering is why this is happening and is there
anything that could be done to more permanently fix the
problem? Or at a minimum, a recommendation for a cheaper
additive that is known to work.

Where are you getting your gas? Name brand? I have all my cars of FP60....
Stuff really works well....cheap and easy....I am very careful only to fuel up at one of the major brands stations...never at a convenience store etc. They mostly sell lower end ( less or no additives) gasoline.....check out FP60

Hi Sarge,
Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it and will try it.
Yes, I do use Hess Gas as there is not one of the big
name stations near where I live.
Do you put FP60 in at every fill up or every other one or
what are your thoughts on this?
