    Exclamation Squeaky Belt

Im pretty sure some of you have the same problem...when my car is cold the belt squeaks for about 10 minutes and then just goes away....someone told me to put grease on it...and it worked...for a couple days...brand new belt...its annoying the hell out of me. Anyone?

Aftermarket Idle Tensioner. You basically remove your old Idle pully assembly and put the new one on.

Try an old bar of soap. The waxy build up lasts longer than grease.

    Old-timer's trick.

get a wire brush(small) and while the engine is running-very carefully of course) place the brush part against all of the pulleys as well as the belt. basically it could be that there is some trash in the pulley's grooves....seen it many times at the dealer, did the same, do NOT put oil or that "belt drssing" shit on it, that stuff is like glue and does not last.

Dude, I always have noisy belts at work. First thing I do is go to the bathroom, take a piss, then grap the bar of soap on the way out. Dont try to apply it while the engine is running. Even if your buddy dares you.

If that doesnt work, There is a products made for this. Probaly just soap I duno, They call it Belt dressing at work. I dont know who makes it, but that might be a step up from some bar soap.
