Lots of people on here run MSD wires, ac delco, taylor, accel. Just about any name brand wires are as good or better than the stock ones.

I'll go ahead and recomend autolite 103 plugs over the ac delco plugs.

I'll add my question from another thread here: I have a clearance issue with my MSD wires and Kooks on cylinders 2 and 4. I rotated the boot on the coil to try to pull the wire away from the tube, but it is still all but touching. Suggestions?

mine are too, and have been, I check them often but they have not burnt at all. they do make insulated looms to protect the wires that just slide right over them

Unless you have a modified setup that requires a hotter or colder plug. Stock Delco plugs are VERY good plugs. Most anything else like the NGK's are not better they are just cheaper.
