I did when I had 'em. About 7hp on mine.
Then did LT with loudmouth.
Finally true duals, tuned shorties, no cats, two 40 series Flowmaster, and no crossover pipe. Never Looked Back. Best seat of the pants for $150.

If they look similar to this, then yes just remove the bolts/nuts and take the caps and gaskets off.

Then you probably don't have a cutout. It's basically a fork that you install in your exhaust pipe after your headers/manifolds, but before everything else.
Here's a clearer pic. Use the first one for reference.

If you can imagine cutting a small section of pipe from your exhaust and slipping this in that gap then you can see that by taking those three nuts off you will be able to remove that roundish plate and basically have a straight pipe out that does not go through your MUFFLER. Loud and cheap just what you asked for. If you don't want to have to get on your back every time you want LOUD. Then there is the electrically operated one right below it.

you won't lose hp, you'll lose under 3000 rpms torque. i used to have one before i got the bassani tru-duals. i gained 11/13 AFTER 3000 rpms. lost a tenth in the 60ft and gained 1 mph in the 1/4 mile. overall 1/4 mile time was a gain of .02.
for the money, not worth it for power. for sound, sure.

if you want sound, cut your muffler off. zero dollars spent. you have to take it off anyways to put your soon to be purchased bassani system.
