    sooo wtf is my year of my camaro?

    It's VIN I believe claims it is a 2000, but on the door panel, it says it was certified in 11/1999.

    they make models a year before..your car is a 2000...they start creating 2000 in 99..so yea 2000 it is

    You can also tell really quick by looking at the side mirrors...if they're body color then it's a 00+

    My 2002 was actually produced in 6/2001. Model year is different from actual year. Follow the VIN to determine model year, and always use that when referring to your car.

    i thought my car was a 2000 for a while, cuz the door says it was built in 6/99. however, the vin says 99, so does my insurance. weird...........so its a 99, when it was built doesnt matter apparently

    june is too early in the year for it to be a 2000...if it was built in the last couple months of 99 then it would be a 2000 most likely
