    So lost...I hate electrical!!!!

I have a issue with my 99 ws6.It all started with a bad turn signal(driver bulb)it was blown and filled with water so i took the bulb out drained the casing, and went to work with no bulb.Got out of work and started the car,no dash lights at all..im like alright ill get it home and check everything...on the way home i was beeped at and have no lights at all in the rear!so i get home and swap bulbs and replace the blown tailight fuse...go back out the next morning and the turn signal doesnt work again and nore does my dashlights or tails.go back home fix the blown fuse/bulb again, start the car turn signals front/back work,4ways front/back work, brake lights work.My fog lights dash lights and tail lights do not,and the tail fuse keeps blowing. But the weird thing is my gauges are not working at all eaither, just the oil pressure/voltage gauges work, and my tails and fogs do not...I cleaned off all of the grounds and plugs and had all my panles off and checked all the wiring and cannot find the problem at all,idk what is wrong im at a stand still,I also checked to make sure i properly hooked it all back up(i did)...what do you guys think?

Also my headlights go down when i switch the headlight switch to the middle for just tails to be on....and non of my lights turn on when i remotly lock my car.horn beeps when it locks but no lights.

Sounds like you might have a chafed wire somewhere causing a short. I know PAJeff02 posted in another electrical gremlin thread about, I think, ground junctions and their locations. Did you check the grounds on the radiator core support? I think there are other grounding points under the front bumper, but I could be wrong. Also check the wiring under the dash as a wire could have rubbed on the dashboard support bracket(metal) and wore away the insulation and could be shorting out.

I'd be surprised if you had to replace the cluster.

So now the taillights work, but the gauges and radio do not, correct? What exactly doesn't work, the backlighting for the gauges/radio or the gauges and radio themselves don't work?

Have you checked the BCM to see if the soldering has separated from the board? I had stupid intermittent issues and that fixed it. Although i didnt have the constant fuses/bulbs blowing. On my phone so cant exactly search/etc to post it up. Maybe someone else can post up the BCM repair thread?
I like work. It fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.

Body control module. Its in the kickpanel on the p/s. Its worth a shot man. Take it out, take it apart and check the soldering at the relays well. Theres a couple that are prone to separating from the board. Resolder them onto the board!
