    Smoking after cam-swap

Just finished a cam-swap on Friday. It looks like there is blue smoke coming out the exhaust when it idles, it seems to go away after a little bit. I put all new valve seals on when I did the swap and all new gaskets, any idea why it could be doing that?

    smoking

I've had two friends who had LS1 hot cams put in their cars at the same place. They both smoked a little, but after a few hundred miles on them both, one stopped the other didn't. I've been told that some times a few of the hot cams will smoke no matter what & others wont, sometimes permanently. I do not know this to be a fact or fiction.

the reason i ask is it might be oil burning off the headers and the heads. seems stupid i know but if you just swapped it then you never know. but get a tune ASAP.
