Smog Equipement & Hookup LS1

Hi,

I am a new member and just posted in the indroduction section.

I also have a question and looking fo help regarding smog equipment.

Just replaced the engine in my 85 El Camino with a 2005 GTO, LS1 and
4L60E trans. When I got the engine it was already out of the car. So I did
get the chance to look at the smog routings.

I do have the cats on it with inboard and out outboard 02 sensors.
But I need to know what else it needs on it?. And the routings, locations and hookups to be smog legal in Calif?.

Welcome, My 02' Camaro has an air pump compressor that runs off the fan belt with tubes running to my cats, for pollution. Not sure exactly but I think it helps burning the unburnt fuel in your cats better! Not sure if GTO's had it or not.

I know that my engine didn't come with a smog pump compresser.
But it is suppose to have things like a; fresh air sensor,PVC valve, and fuel vent
return system at least I think it should.

what year, make and model you talking about? Needed info.

I indicated in my post that it was a 2005 GTO, LS1.
