SLP BLACKWING LID- info?
I'm looking for any info people have for gains with this lid. It was a rare lid on the hawks in late 02 i believe. here's a link to a picture of it.

no, the lid fits just like the stock lid, b/c in essence the blackwing lid is a stock lid, was just a SLP option.

A buddy of mine had a lid on his car, where he had to get a different lower box setup. It was more of a bottom breather lid, really wide, and the gap in the front was like that of an ss. I'm wondering if thats the same lid you have or not. i think i remember it being from fast toys a long time ago

i have had 3 of these unless you want to spend a ton just get an slp lid. look good and fits good. after you buy a new slp lid, save the other 250 for tires. instead of the blackwing.

White- '02 Camaro SS
I have this lid as part of the 350HP option on my '02 SS. Ordered in late August, I found out about the option and was able to get it added before it went to the line. I took delivery in early October, so I was probably one of the first. Only thing is I don't have the God awful SLP logo on mine.

I have the Blackwing SLP lid as well. I personally would go with the newer style SLP lid.
The Blackwing lid neck is a separate boot piece and has less clearance. The SLP newer lids have the neck going to the bellows all as one piece, and is designed to provide more clearance (Neck is higher up I believe and angled downward). Plus, like mentioned, the Blackwing lids will be a bit pricey being they are no longer available.
