    SLP 85MM Mass Air Sensor...

    I was going to buy this part off a guy for my 2001 Camaro and I know that they are broken down by 1998-2000 & 2001-20002. He said they are the same exactly and this would work on my 2001 even though it is for the 1998-2000 LS1's. Please let me know before I get something I can't use,

    I wouldn't buy it.
    Stock MAF is plenty. Good for 500+ HP.

    Aftermarket MAF's need to be tuned for, and can actually hurt power without said tune.

    Thank you!

    I will hold off on that. What about a ported throttle body or BBK 80MM? I am going with the heads & cam package and should be at about 400 at the wheels soon and need to know if these two mods will help on the induction side. Thank you for the excellent advice,
