Skip a step?
I drove through a HUGE puddle (more like a river) of water the other night and now my car is missing like a SOB and has ses light on. Codes p0332 (knock sensor), p0151 (bank 2 sensor 1 low voltage), p1133 and p1153 (02 heater circuit malfunction).
After reading diagnostic charts on gear chatter it says to diagnose/fix any other codes first before p1133 and p1153 (hence p0332 knock sensor) but seeing as I drove through water (about the height of where the 02 sensors sit in the headers) and the car ran fine before this I'm thinking I ruined my 02 sensors. I'm also thinking this hard miss is caused by the 02 sensors which are causing the knock. Should I just replace the 02's instead of troubleshooting the knock sensor first? Both knock sensors are new as of this April as well...01' Ws6: Bolt ons, TD's, stock 241 heads, 230/230 .612/.592 111+2

you don't have a misfire code? What your saying could be correct and you'll most likely have to replace those O2's either way so go ahead and replace those. I'm guessing that they're not related to the miss or the knock code though....could be but I doubt it. Sounds like you probably have some water in your harness' and possibly a plug wire or something.

Maybe a Hydro lock issue? have you check you air filter? Is it damp or trashed?
A puddle that high you could have sucked some water up into the intake. Would cause all the miss-firing and kick off the Knock sensor too.

The puddle wasn't high enough to get up to the plugs or even intake and I don't have an ftra or ssra air intake so I don't think I sucked up water..also it ran fine the rest of my ride home (20 minutes). It wasn't until the next day that this started.. I wonder if there is water in a connector or the harness but from the parts I checked there was none.
The reason I'm also thinking the knock code is NOT a bad knock sensor and is being set off by bad 02's is I had a bad plug wire set off a knock code before and the wires were replaced with msd wires in april, and the knock code went away..
