    Skip Shift

I noticed that there are places that sell a cable and/or connector for bypassing the skip shift solenoid. Cant you just pull the connector off of the solenoid to disconnect it.

IF you are having a tune done or know someone that will tune it out for free, this is the way to go. If not I have the bypass from SLP that I will sell. I used it on mine until I tuned it out.

I never knew this. Have a frost tune-mail order, nothing listed on the order sheet, I think that should be on there. I Just got a SLP unit on eBay new for $20 s&h included.

I disconnected it and put a 48k ohm resister in the harness. I wrapped it with electrical tape and tucked it away. It has worked fine for years now.

Note it has been a while since I did that mod, you may want to check the resistance of solenoid. Piece cost me $0.25
