SideMarker doesn't work correct..
I have a problem with my front sidemarker. The turnsignal doesn't work on both- but the parklight works correct on both. So the bulbs are ok and everything else (front turn signal+hazard light+park light) works fine. I have no idea what the problem is.
The only thing I changed a few weeks ago where both turnsignal sockets from the front blinker. I installed 3gen sockets instead the stock sockets- but as I write the front parklight/turn signal is ok. I also deactived the DRL- ww.xse.com/leres/ss/drl.html like its shown in the link.
Did everyone know where I can found the failure?
Thx in advance!

Why did you change to a different socket?Different bulbs?I've never heard of that-maybe I will learn something here.I'm going to guess it's messing w/the BCM-as you may or may not realize( but I was just looking at the other day) the wiring for these lights is greatly complicated by the DRL system.Maybe the added load from the different bulbs is screwin w/the BCM-try switching back to stock socket on one side and see what happens.

I change to the 3gen socket because the sockets are much cheaper- 12€ and the stock sockets 45€. The bulbs are 5w/21w like the stock ones.
But I will check it out and change to the stock socket- did you know a shop where I can get the stock ones?
Thanks,
Andy

I didn't notice -you're in Germany!I think you may have to get stuff over the internet mailed to you if you don't have a General Motors dealer nearby.I'll look around and see if I can find something-SLP Performance Parts carries alot of stuff from the factory-it's cool site anyway if you haven't been on it yet.

one of the sponsers of this forum is GM parts direct.com-maybe that would be a good place to mailorder-and if the watts are the same it may not be the problem-
