shocks bottom out when braking on a bumps??
well i drive over this bump all the time but i had to hit the brakes while going over it one time and i mean the whole car felt like it hit a ICE BERG. ive noticed it on the rear too like when i gun it around a curve and hit a bump. but everytime a go over that same bump w/o braking its fine
is this just a f body thing??

Yeah, you don't want to be on the brakes hard with any car while hitting a bump or pothole.
