    Question Shifter Swap - 2000 WS6

I'm new here so this may be an existing thread. I have a 2000 WS6 6 speed (non Hurst Shifter), and I recently purchased a B & M Ripper shifter. My question is how do you access the shifter to do the swap out? I have read where you have to remove the entire console but it looks to me as if you only have to remove the boot. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

you have to remove the entire console, you will not be able to access all the screws that hold on the rubber boot otherwise.
the console takes about 5 min to take off and it will save you a headache.

btw in the instruction manual for the shifter it says to take off the e brake handle cover.. that is wrong it will not come off and it will slip through the console just fine.

    hope this helps

    That helps a lot.
    Thanks for the info.
