Check to see if the Air pump fuse is open (blown). Let me know when you find out. I may have some more info once you let me know.

I would check the fuse, because the fact you only "think" fuses are there to be blown a weak spot in an electrical line. They can go at any time.

ok, the pump runs fine
the passenger side metal tube is kinked really bad so the problem is there right?
i think i kinked it when i put the new headers in because i had to bend them to fit the new ones.
yeah, so do i want to try to straighten the tube or should i buy a new tube?? and from where??
could this malfunction be causing the shaking ir no?
thanks

The kink sounds like it's what caused the dtc code....as for the shaking, my guess is the headers. Try to secure the exhaust better...after I put my cats and y pipe on it shaked a lot more at idle and transmitted the vibration into the interior.

I put the mufflex bump stop hanger(used to stop pipe from banging floorboard) on the driverside Y-pipe...helped a lot. But I also don't have long tubes...but it might still work for you. Or bring it to a muffler shop and see if they can fabricate some support for your system.

I don't think the kinked tube is causing the shaking - you can pull the AIR PUMP fuse and disable the whole secondary air system if you want to check (it'll throw code P0412 though). Assuming the plugs are OK and gapped correctly, next thing I'd look at is to be sure you don't have a plug wire arcing somewhere on the headers, and they're all on TIGHT. I've helped on 4 header installs, only problem was after a couple days once on SLP headers we found the #6 plug wire burnt and arcing - no SES but engine was running rough - found it by starting the car in the dark with the garage lights off - also had a slight "clicking" noise. You can also try resetting the PCM, and maybe even an idle relearn, but with some miles after the install it should have already learned. Hope this helps, just a couple ideas...

Forgot, I'd visit the dealer for the metal air tube, the gasket is PN 12553617. If you need the PN for the tube I can look it up for you if you want to get them online. Again, reason I don't think the air system is causing the shake is because it shuts off after a couple minutes, then only comes on once in a while while cruising.
