SES code "speed sensor malfunction"
2002 Z just had head, headers and cam installed. Hit a dog on the right side bumper in front of the tire. After having repairs done at MAACO the SES light was on. Took it to autozone and they told me they must have left something unhooked. Ideas?

There is a wire harness clipped onto the lower control arm that runs to your ABS sensor. This may have been damaged or disconnected. Simply trace the harness -- there is a connector at the wheel hub and another further inboard if I recall correctly.

Let me know how that MAACO paint is in a few months, lol. I had them do a paint job on a car I sold... Lol, paint peeled off a few months after, lol. Look good would I sold it, lol.

Did autozone offer to pull the SES code from your computer for you? Some car parts places do this for free. Either way if you pull the code with a scanner it will tell you what is wrong.
Other question is have you had your car PCM tuned yet? After my cam I had SES light with several codes until the tuner did his thing to it.
