service vehicle light

anyone know what this light means or what I'm supposed to do about it? its not service engine soon light. I can't find any info about it in my service manual.

Could be something as easy as a burned out bulb - takes a special scanner to read service vehicle codes.

just took it out for a drive again. now there is no service vehicle light on. I shut it off and started it a few times still nothing. just a fluke? I hope. seems to run same as always. would a turn signal light or brake light or something trigger that? I hate when this stuff happens. makes me paranoid.

i would still have it scanned to be sure by the obd2, auto zone does it for free

i've wondered this too--what does it mean??? Never had it come on, but had various bulbs go out. I've seen the oil change light and the ses light; when does the service vehicle light come on??? can't imagine what would trigger it...

thousands of sensors will make it trigger on, basically when there is something wrong with car

thanks for response greatwhite! wondering if anyone has any specific examples??? I have experienced ses lights due to 'things wrong with car' and maintenence light "oil change'. Curious what kinds of sensors trigger service vehicle light; I mean there is some sort of distinction between the SES light and service vehicle light; what is it?
