Service engine light popped!! Thoughts ??
Well for the first time since owning the z the light popped. Wanted to know if anyone had any initial first thoughts or guesses .
215k km
k&n filter
free ram air mod
corsa cat back
just 4 days ago.....
SLP lid
plugged air port in lid
bent air hose out of sight for now
smooth bellow (did have to bang the maf a bit to fit on the lid)
Light popped last night cruising in 5th ( I know I'm sorry I'm usually wot though! ) and it was raining . Were no cars in front if me and I've driven through tons of days with more rain so not sure if it's anything to do with water.
Will check the plugs n wires when I stop in a few. Probably dc the battery when I get home. When I unplugged the Maf the idle does change.
Any guesses ?

Naw, with no codes to go on, it is definitely this:
Air injection check valves. Or, catalyst efficiency. Or, system too lean. Or, system too rich. Or, B1S1 HO2 sensor shorted. Or, B1S2 HO2 sensor too lean. Or, TPS out of range. Or, EGR system excessive flow. Or, Evaporative Emissions system very small, small, or gross leak detected. Just a few things to check LOL. Could be a knock sensor code as well.
Please get the code so we can help.

Figured it might have to do with the AIR. It was about 10 minutes from a stop when it popped on. DOesnt the air pump only turn on for the first few minutes? WHen a code is popped, does it keep the light on all the time or will it go away if it sees everything is fine?
I'm installing LTs and high flow cats anyways in about a week so egr etc will be programmed out.
