service engine light
ok guys so i get the check engine light while i was done racing a scion, i get two codes the both back o2 sensors. But last year i got the both front o2 sensor codes i replaced the front but really didnt see a difference. So my question is, may the catalytic converters be bad or should i first by the rear sensors and then see if that solves my problem. comments will be greaty appreciated.

It might have been a one off thing from fuel loading after the race. clear the codes and wait to see if they come back.

what were the codes? Could very well be cats which are still under warranty for you if you're less than 120k miles.

sounds like what I had, P0137 and P0157, not sure if those are your codes, it would almost feel like fuel was being cut off at around 2k under light to medium acceleration, turns out it was my maf, since Ive replaced it car runs smooth, I think the reason it throws O2 codes instead of the maf is bc the O2's are trying to make up for what the maf is screwing up, just my long .02
ps try cleaning your maf, if you have to replace go oem, i got mine for 50 shipped from lsx heaven on here

so i went to get my codes read and on the way there the check engine liight came off! I was like what tha fu**(*()(. The codes were P0137 and P0157 jus like iwishihadanlt1. And i was thinking that maybe because i got codes for the first two 02s and now the back one my cats could be bad. but let me try cleaning the maff too and see what happens.

I had the same exact issue, usually if its the cats the light will be blinking which usually means catalytic failure, my light went off for about a week, turned back on with the same codes, couple days later filled up on gas and turned off about 4 miles after filling up, I tried cleaning the maf and it still did it, replaced it and all is well now, I was missing about 50hp bc of it

Sometimes these things just happen and they clear themselves out. If the car is running fine and you dont have any check engine light on while the car is running then i wouldnt worry about it for now. But if the check engine light is on while the car is on accessory then you got some serious problems sorry i had to.
