    To sell or to mod

    Hey all. Long time to see. I bought a ton of parts several years ago that I have yet to install on the bird. At the time I was set on making it fast. But now I don't really care about that any more. I don't take her to the track or run her for times. I am happy with the way she sounds now with the gmpp hotcam

    It is a weekend car I just take out to cruise.

    I am just wondering what you guys opinions are as far as what to do. Should I go through the trouble of modding her more or just be happy with what I have since I like it and sell off the parts. I know this largely depends on me but I can't seem to motivate myself to do another tear down.

    Parts not installed are ported and polished 243s, larger cam, fast102 intake, ls3 injectors, 102 nw tb, 102 tsp maf, 104 lid and accessories to go with.

    I get that perspective. I really do. There was a time I was planning a 418 stoker for my car. You might remember it because we talked in it some. If I remember right I even bout a couple parts from you. But maybe I am getting old, I dunno. I don't care about having the fastest street car around anymore. I love the way my car sounds and it might only be pushing 400 brake hp. I think I am happy with it. Would I be more happy with one pushing 475bhp? Absolutely. But I don't know that I have it in me to tear my motor down to the shortblock and rebuild it it again then have it towed 3 hours to have it tuned.

    Now a days I could use the cash haha. It took me 5 years to collect all the parts but I have no motivation to install them anymore. I dunno man.

    I still want better heads and cam. I'm been at 450 since I built/tuned my 403. biggest hold back in power is the stock 243 heads.

    I have TEA stage 2 243s that I was going to use but am now thinking about selling. Though I think the cam I have would be too small for your liking in a 403. 230/234 112+2 at a bit over 0.6 lift
