Black- 2001 Camaro SS, 6 speed,
Security light!!
For some reason my security light gies off once in a while and doesn't allow me to start the car! I don't know what it is but I usually have to wait it out and it goes away and it starts right up. It comes on when I drive sometimes but doesn't do anything while I drive but it kinda freaks me out. Does anybody know what's setting it off and how to fix it?

Sounds like an issue with VATS - http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61262 Check out the thread on disabling it.

i had an 02 do that but it wouldn't start at all .. the wires for the vats in the column tend to break ..
