    Seafoam works wonders

My Z28 only had about 20,000 miles on it when i bought it. Every since then though the engine has been making a horrible chatter like noise, even when warm. Plus it idled unusually rough and made a rough noise under accelation. I ran half a can of seafoam through it today and it fixed all of that, throttle response has improved and it pulls harder now. When i took off down my street there was so much white smoke behind me that i could hardly see anything in my mirrors.

Yeah I run it through the brake booster vaccum line and it smokes like there's no tomarrow, but it does work wonders.

    Sounds like good stuff!

Thanks for posting that link AiDRocks, it was very informative.

My Formy (66k miles) has a bit of a rough idle, I think I'll give this stuff a shot.

I just picked up a can on the way home from work today, I'm going to put it in the tank when I fill up, and I'll try and run it through the vacuum line this weekend.

Never tried seafoam, but ive used a similar product called BG44k and that worked wonders on my old Z28.
