runs like a turd!

Is that the airpump your talking about? We are seeing alot of these threads lately. Spray the maf w/ maf cleaner check the spark plugs and check the o2 sensors all can cripple a car.

wouldnt I get some kind of code if it were a o2 senser or maf? I was wondering about the plugs, but I figured that might trip a code as well,no?

I can't believe no one else has chimed in.
I would spray the maf w/ maf cleaner first, and quickly clean the iat sensor located on the lid.

Whens the last time you did a full tune up? Changed the fuel filter? Plugs and wires?
Post up the code and we can go from there.
J2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....

if you havent ever done a tune up, it probably time. what code did you have? Does it fell like a missfire? Rough idle? Only under a load?

Clean MAF with good cleaner...
Change Plugs...
PCV...
Fuel Filter...
Air Filter...
Those are very cheap and easy todo!
Then go from there!

Well it does seem to be the worst under load, however the car really seems to lack low end power.Once under load, thats when i notice a missing kind of thing going on.What are a good brand of plugs to run?How about fuel filter?

sounds like wires, are they oem? stock plug # is ac delco 41-985 which is platinum which lasts longer but not as hot as spark. But thats what i have and drives great. Alot of people use ngk tr55 which are also good. Stay away from bosch and autolites. just my opinion. Wires, I have blue 10.5mm vision motorsports that i bought on ebay for 40 bucks. msd and ac delco work good. be carefull if you do it yourself not to drop or crack the plugs. Took me about an hour and a half. the passenger back plug is a bitch. so is getting that wire on. make sure you hear a click when you push the wires on the plug good luck
