running to rich

Well my z is running to rich. The car smells like gas every-time and wen i get on it black smock comes out smelling like gas. My gas milage is horrible like 13mpg and i was wondering what can cause it to run rich?. the only coed that is coming up is that my air pump is bad and i'm pretty sure my cats are clogged up as well.

Based on that, I would look for a replacement air pump and some new cats.

Yup if your cats are clogged that LS1 is not exhaling right. Are you sure they are clogged?

yeah i took it to a muffler shop and they told me that my cats were bad, but is all good cause this month the z hopefully will be getting lt and tsp catted y pipe

what air pump code is it? If it's running all the time or if there's a leak there it'll create a false lean which will make the car dump fuel....sounds like a possibility.
