    retard timing????

alright so i have a pretty steep driveway and i have to go in at an angle everytime. sometimes when i have a full tank of gas, my tailpipes will hit and drag on the ground a little no matter how sideways i get. is this enough of a bump on the exhaust system to cause the the knock sensor to retard the timing?

I heard of different things causing the knock sensor to get false readings-but that is a new one. I would guess no-it's too far away from the engine to transmit noise to the knock sensors. Are you having problems? i would guess the engine is retarding timing based on engine load as you enter the uphill at a low speed. Just a guess of course.
