Black- 2001 Trans Am WS6
Replacing the Starter
Has anyone here replaced a starter on the 01 Trans? I have had people tell me that it is possible to do it yourself, and others that say it cant be done unless the car is on a hoist... any advice before I get my guy friend to rip my car apart? LOL

Drive up on some rhino ramps and grab a wrench. It's like a 15 minute chore.

Like said above, just get the car up on some ramps or lift "safely" and just pull the old one off and put the new one in. Make sure you disconnect your battery and label the wires befor removing.
J2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....
