    Removal Help Please

    Just ordered a set of white overlays and was looking for some help on removing gauge cluster? Mostly looking on how to remove trim ring on dash(don't want to break anything by missing a screw or clip) searched site and net no real help, also best way to remove trim ring around radio??(again without breaking it)

    At the moment, I cannot remember if there are two screws at the top of the bezel. I am, however inclined to believe the bezel just pulls out. Others will post the correct way to remove the bezel to get at the cluster.

    2000 Grand Prix GTP
    2000 Trans Am WS6 M6

    It just pulls off, but be careful and try to do it all at once. If you do it at an angle, you'll snap clips off. I'm missing 2 of the clips and it still stays on, so don't REALLY worry about it. After you have the bezel off, there are four 7mm screws holding the actual guage cluster in. Once you have those out, the cluster just pulls out.

    This is the info Iam looking for, Looked All over the net can't find anything looks like older bezel has screws I don't see any screws ( 99 T-A) and did not want to break anything. So just Pull it back by hand?

    Well Job is done went easy with bezel and still broke 2 clips, see no way around it! Also needed to drop steering down a bit cluster would not clear tilt lever box, after that it lifted out easy. Overlays went on easy, look great.
