    Real World L33 Power Expectations

What kind of everyday horsepower/torque can be expected from a almost stock L33 with only a LS3 induction/injection system, good long headers, cats, mufflers, a chip reprogram, 92 gas and a good aircleaner? Necessary repower project. Thanks. HB of CJ

    327 Aluminum V8 GMC/Chevy 4WD Pickup Engine

The L33 is/was (?) a 327 alloy V8 used in the '05 Chevy/GMC half ton 4X4 pickups with extended or crewcabs.(?) About 300 hp, 310 torque. Considered generation four.(4) 5.3 liters? Very light weight.

Looks like an LS engine, but the dip stick goes directly into the pan and tall induction. Kinda of a overlooked mill, several available locally very cheap at $1000 to $1500 complete. Thank you. HB of CJ
