2001 CAMARO SS / Black- 2009 COLORADO V8/dk gray
Re: Sub frame connectors
My camaro is a weekend cruiser at most. Would SFC be of any benefit to me? Thanks!

Cruiser or not SFC's should be put on all f-body's IMO. They should have come with them from the factory. But that would make it a non unibody car. Again I say yes to doing the SFC's even if you do not plan to do anything else.

Silver & Blue- 02 Camaro SS, 04 GTO
It is the best 350 dollars you can spend. After they are in you can mod the suspension without worry.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

I agree. SFC's are worth doing. Check out UMI - site sponser - they have top quality products.

Alot of people do it. I personally have never used them on any of our 4th gens. Not to say I might sometime in the future, but it's never been priority to me. Since our 4th gens are just drivers (wife drives hers daily) and it rarely sees the dragstrip (maybe once a year?) and I don't do road courses so.....
We've had 4 4th gens over the years, (one brand new) and driven them over 100k miles with no ill affects. Doors still shut beautiful, none of those misterious quarter panel dents that people claim happen from lack of frame connectors etc...
But I agree, anytime you can stiffen the chassis it's a good thing. Maybe if you plan to heavily mod the car, do some racing of any sort, you would probably benefit from them.

I agree check out UMI, got them in the spring easy to put on an very nice workmanship, I got the weld in, the bolt in are the same except for hardware, you shouldn't have to spend the money for the 3 point connectors if your not auto crossing it..also thay are great people to deal with

If you opt for the "3 point" sub frame connectors, don't forget the "U brace" to tie them together. It gives it more rigidity.
