Rattling, pinging noise in engine

I have an 01 SS with 33,000 miles it has an awfull rattling noise around 2500 and up RPM. My first thought was bad gas. well after a few diferent fill ups from other gas stations it still rattles. I've even tried Octane booster with no change. it isn't throwing any codes, so does anyone have any suggestions? Also it doesn't have to be under a load to cause this rattle. It's holding good oil PSI so i wouldn't think it's a bearing failure.

Were you using premium fuel from the pump too?

does it keep doing it or does it only do it within 2500 rpm range...I have the same issue...i think...it sounds kinda like coins or heat sheild rattle...i replaced my belts and it went away but came back once they were broke in...I think it might be a pulley

yes 93 octane. it rattles on up through all the rpm range. what pully was rattling on yours? it has been dyno tuned could this be the culprate?

If they maxed out your timing for some reason...yes.

the tune was done before i bought it so whatever was done to it i'm unsure. it was done with hp tuner. does anyone know a shop around ky. that uses this setup?
