    rattle in the t-top

    01 ws6 T-tops driver side is rattling more and more, ive been taking them out a lot more than before that souldnt mess them up tho. Is there something I can do to fix this problem.
    2001 Camaro SS, LM 1, BMR LCA, relocation brackets, BMR springs, adj panhard bar, smooth below, lid, sub-frame connectors weld on, strut brace
    2000 WS6, ls6 intake, sub-frame connectors, slp maf, slp cat delete with slp y-pipe, electric cutout, strut brace, smooth below, slp lid, bmr LCA and RLB

    Just kidding, I just went outside and took the t-top out and shook it and no rattle in the top, so what could be this rattle? when driving it sounds like its in the pillar top.

    pull the pillar piece, see if something is loose in there. Other then that I would also check the center strip that the top slides into to make sure it's secured.

    When was the last time you siliconed the gaskets? if not they can be shrinking and getting brittle with age, this would cause a rattle in the t-top because it is not seated properly to the vehicle.

    I'm not sure if the OP solved the rattle issue but I had a t top rattle issue on the driver's side a few weeks ago. it turned out to be the plastic cover piece that is attached to the t top. It has one screw on each side and they were loose. One of them was stripped so I got a bigger one and screwed it in until was secured. No more rattle for me.
