Rattle In My ORY
ok this past friday that just passed i took my car to the track to see what my time was in the 1/4 mile. before each pass, i checked my car to see if it was making any odd noises, and it wasnt. well i took my passes, any when i got done i went home. well when i got home i noticed a ringing type noise coming from under the car. well i went to my buddy's house and jacked up the car, and checked everything on the exhaust, bolts, mounts etc. well when i knocked on the ory on the passenger side, it sounded like something was rattling inside of it. so i took off the O2 sensor and used a magnet to see if it was a piece of metal inside, but it didnt work. so i checked the O2 sensor and it was rattling around inside the little metal piece where the sensor supposed to be. i know thats not good, but im just wondering if anyone has had that problem before. tomorrow im gonna go to the muffler shop where i got my exhaust done to see if they can find any leaks or fix the problem. oh and also anyone know how much it would cost to get the rear O2 sensors turned off, because i have no cats and i know its throwing a code for that and the EGR.

went to the muffler shop, and they found that one of there welds needed to be fixed. at first they was gonna make me pay for it, but i told them that they did the install of the two pipes that replaced the cats, and the cut out, so they said oh ok well then we will warranty it... so no more rattle in the y pipe thank god.
