    Ram Air Hood?

I have a after market Ram Air Hood on my car. It did not come with the mesh. Where could I get mesh for the hood or what could I use? I have the same hood as the trans am WS6.

    Cool

Just where do this mesh you are talking about go.Anything you need for the hood if it is just like the stock ram air,you can find at the dealer. If you are talking about the two plastic vents in the front of the hood the dealer have them.

Some of the mesh did come with but it was cheap. The place I had put the hood on messed up the mesh and the company that I ordered the hood from sucked and we argued with that company and basically told him off so there is no way I can get more from him. what else could I use. I was thinking about some gutter block mesh but how would that hold back any water from going into the intake? Does anybody knokw what they use for the WS6 hoods for the 2 mesh on the hood?

Plastic inserts formed from GM moldes, As far as I know they are GM Specific. If your hood is close ensough you might be able to make them fit.

If we are talking about the same thing GM will have them.and as far as water getting in the intake it want happen, there are baffles that keep that from happening. In most cases the opening is all for show.Do you truly believe that a screen or the plastic vents that comes in the WS6 hood would keep water out. no way.some runs the hood without the mesh as you call it. check with your GM dealer I believe that they can help you. Take the car by and show them what you need and more than likely they will have it.
