Ram air with cold induction?
I have a non ram air TA and i've installed the SLP flowpac on it which includes a new lid, smooth bellow, and cold air induction from under the car. A foam strip also came with the kit that sealed the front of the airbox. I want to get a ram air hood and it would be nice it was actually functional. This would not be possible with the front of the air box being sealed. Would it be a waste of money to buy the ws6 lower airbox and remove the seal to allow the air to flow from the hood ? Would i see a gain in power? Thanks.

Does anyone have any opinion on this? Would it be a waste of money to buy the lower airbox? Would a non ram air TA with the cold induction have more or less power than a non ram air TA with an aftermarket ws6 lower airbox?

It's either one or the other bro. The hood will just be for looks if you keep the lid, duct...which isn't really a bad thing. Otherwise you have to ditch that shit and get the hood and ram air box assembly. Don't know which is better..but I like my fast toys setup. Mine came with a seal for the front also...it's to keep the lid airtight to get a ram air effect at high speeds.
