Radiator question
I had a hole in my upper coolant hose so I started to replace it and one thing led to another and I ended up pulling the radiator. I have had no problems so far but am doing preventive maintenance. Can I take the radiator to a local shop and have them recore and clean it or are these plastic ones just replaced?
I also removed and cleaned my hypertech 60 degree thermostat. How long do these thermostats last before replacing. I've had it about 6 years/60,000 miles. Thanks

chances are, for the rad, if its not leaking, just get it flushed and pressure checked. as for the t-stat, for the cost and since you ahve the system open might as well replace it as eliminate one more potential issue.

Cool thanks. I got another 160 degree thermostat and will test the radiator.
I wanted to do a tranny and power steering cooler but that will have to wait.
