Racetronix Harness Positive Lead
Just finished my new Racetronix complete fuel system upgrade and all I have left to do is connect the positive connection. My question is could I use the positive lead right next to the fuse box instead of connecting it to the alternator? For some reason Im having a tough time even getting near the alternators connections without removing it. Looks like it has been replaced by previous owner a off brand. Would like to know before I start her up, if anyone else has used that location.
Thanks

Is it a safe location to connect? I want to make sure if it is a safe location for the harness and if the voltage will be good enough there to supply the new pump. Has anyone else done this? My DMM is at work so Im unable to test at the moment. Anyone with information your respones are appreciated

you really want that lead to come directly off the alternator. Will your pump run? Yep but you won't be getting the full benefit of running the harness upgrade. Might as well have just kept the old harness on there.

Ahh, thanks. I went back and looked, theres a black cover on the back of the alternator making it near impossible to reace the (+) stud while on the car. Seems Ill have to at least get it free it from its bracket to get the wire on.
