    race fuel

    i was thinking of makin a few passes at the track...has anyone ever used race fuel on a stock ls1?? i believe it is 105 octane...is this safe for the engine?

    Don't waste your money you won't pick up anything, high octane fuel is for turbo, supercharged or nitrous powered cars. Also high compression set ups

    good to know...was worried about paying a high ass price per gallon anyway.

    unless you have some one tune you for that level of octane you aren't going to be doing any more than you could do on 91-93... i'm not sure but i believe some race fuels contain lead and fuck up your o2 sensors and cat converters...
