Question for the older Trans Am fans out there..
I have a 79 TA and wanted to make sure it was not a copy.. Can anyone tell me if it is by the vin#? (Vin# 2w87w9n128953)
I believe it is from the dash and the stickers dont look like repro.. But I had someone ask from ebay..
Here are some pics on the auction if it is something visual that could help determine.
Thanks alot!
I cant post a URL yet.. So, If you go to ebay.. type in 79 Trans Am - Then to the burgundy passenger side shot in the gallery of the burgundy TA with modular rims on it.. Thats the one..

The W means it is a Trans Am. There is a book called " standard catalog of FIREBIRD" will answer any questions on VIN production numbers or options
